If you have something to be done

Find local, rated people to help get things done simply.

On WeShare you’ll find a range of top skilled people to help you complete your tasks around the home or for work.  You can find local people to do almost any job.

Start by posting a job. Choose which category best fits your job then write a brief description, select the time horizon you need it done by and take some photos to help the Doer accurately quote for the work.

WeShare will offer your job to relevantly skilled people on the WeShare platform who have been rated and reviewed by customers who have had similar work already done for them. You can view their profiles, see what others think and make your choice based on the quote they provide and how best they suit your needs.

Once you’ve chosen the right person for the job, simply award the job to them. Use WeShare private messaging to communicate and stay informed in a secure environment.

When the job’s complete, leave your thoughts on the work done and the service you have received helping others make an informed choice before closing the job.

If you want to become a Doer simply register a Doer account by creating another profile using the same credentials but using a different username.

Q: Are Doers working for WeShare?

A: No.  Simply, Doers don’t work for WeShare and in no way affiliated or endorsed by WeShare.  Doers work independently and are fully responsible for their own quotes and work.  They provide services directly to their customers only, the users posting a to-do, using WeShare as a platform in which they receive notifications of potential jobs.

Q: How will customers find WeShare and my services?

A: Customers can find WeShare at www.weshare.gg and can search under Doers to find a list of all registered Doers.  Details such as ratings and comments are withheld so users cannot use WeShare as a directory and bypass the job posting process.

Q: Can WeShare remove a user from the platform?

A: Yes.  WeShare may remove a user in exceptional circumstances.  Please contact us at hello@weshare.co.uk if you believe you have a reason why a user should be removed or suspended.

Q: What if I need to see the job in person before I quote?

A: If you feel you require further information or would like to see the job and associated details such as access, please message the job poster from their job post in order to request this.

Managing Jobs and Quotes

Q: How do I know how many jobs are available?

A: You can see all jobs available under To-Dos at the top of the homepage.

Q: I’ve submitted a quote for a job.  How do I know if I’ve been awarded the job or not?

A: You’ll receive an email and notification on the platform telling you the outcome of your bids once the user posting the job has awarded it.

Q: Am I legally obliged to do the job for the quoted amount?

A: If you provide a fixed price quote and if it is accepted by the job poster then this should be treated no differently from sending an email with the quote attached, the same legal obligations will apply.

Q: How do I update my quote as things have changed?

A: WeShare provides a secure messaging system on its platform where you can exchange details of the job with the job poster.

Q: Can I contact the customer to clarify the job before sending a quote or estimate?

A: Yes.  You are able to click on the message button on the job screen to send a message to the job poster through our secure messaging system.

Q: How long do I have to send my quote?

A: You may quote for a job as long as the job poster has not awarded the job to another Doer.

Q: I’ve been awarded a job but the customer has decided that they don’t want to go ahead with it.  What happens next?

A: It is up to the job poster to cancel the job on their workspace.

Q: How do I change my payment details?

A: You can change or update your payment details on the membership billing page at https://weshare.gg/wp-admin/post.php?post=385&action=edit when you are logged in.

Reviews

Q: How do I get reviews from previous customers to build my profile?

A: You can include testimonials in your profile with the permission of the endorser.  However, the best way to build a WeShare verified review is to ask the job poster at the closing stages of a job to offer their comments and rating on the WeShare platform when closing off the job.

Q: What happens if I have received an unfair review and how can I dispute it and have it removed?

A: If you genuinely feel that a review you have received it unfair, the first call to action should be to discuss this with the job poster.  If the job poster agrees to retract their comments then they will need to email us at hello@weshare.co.uk so that the admin team can remove it.

Q: How can I improve my ratings?

A: The only way to improve your rating on WeShare is to consistently do a good job and have comments and ratings to reflect that.

Q: How do I know Doers on WeShare are credible?

A: The ratings and comments that go along with the Doer’s profile should only appear there as a result of genuine jobs transacted via the use of the WeShare platform.  WeShare is a user self regulated environment and we trust you to flag up any potential misuse of the system to ensure that it remains a safe, credible and reliable platform for its users.

Q: How do I post a job?

A: To post a job, simply go to To-Dos at the top of the homepage and select Post a To-Do and follow the steps until completion.  Try and add as much detail as you can to help the Doer provide an accurate quote.  For a window cleaning job for example, things such as number of windows, type of windows, whether you have a 3 storey house, access to your house/windows and/or pictures should give the Doer plenty of information to work from.  This will save you and the Doer time and hopefully alleviate any questions about your job.

A: If you want to delete your account completely, please email us at hello@weshare.co.uk and we will remove you from the platform.

About WeShare

WeShare started so we could connect people in Guernsey with jobs that they need doing with people with the skills to do them.  We were always hearing of people asking for recommendations for the best people to do various jobs and thought that a centralised platform which could connect everyone together with verified reviews would be a very useful tool.

WeShare wants to help make the process of getting things done around the home or office, be it painting, gardening or online work simpler; saving you time and giving you extra flexibility.  Whether you’re an apprentice, student, have another full-time job or simply doing what you love to do, WeShare gives you opportunities that you may not otherwise be aware of and helps you grow your business or hobby.  You can easily choose which jobs warrant more of your attention and to suit your workflow. The jobs come to you.

WeShare wants to connect the islands workforce, allowing those with specialist skills to be able to easily offer those to neighbouring islands or simply to manage workflow.

WeShare helps those who may traditionally find it more awkward to find jobs to have an even chance to pitch for jobs.  Meaning that they receive the same notifications as anyone else subscribed to a particular category and are showcased on the same criteria.  Only true customer service and quality of the job done will set you apart from others.
